Who processes your data

Sal's Socials is the sole proprietorship of Salaheddine (Sal) Snijders, based in Grootebroek in North Holland and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 96240083. Sal's Socials is the controller for the personal data processed through this website.

Which data and why

When you get in touch

The contact form does not send anything to a server of its own. When you click send, your own email app or WhatsApp opens with the message in it and you send it yourself. Your name, email address, any phone number, the selected topic and your message then sit in the mailbox or WhatsApp of Sal's Socials.

That data is used to answer your question and, if we work together, to carry out and invoice the project. The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or the legitimate interest of being able to reply to your message.

Statistics

Only with your consent does Google Analytics 4 measure how the site is used, for example which pages are viewed and which channel you arrive from. Without consent no statistics cookies are placed and no statistics are collected. The legal basis is consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

What does not happen

• Your data is never sold or rented out.
• There is no newsletter, and no advertising profile is built about you.
• No decisions about you are made by software without a human looking at them.

Cookies and similar techniques

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. This site also uses local storage in your browser to remember your cookie choice. Necessary storage is always on; everything else only after your consent. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Google Tag Manager does not place cookies itself. It only loads the tag listed above and follows your choice through Google Consent Mode v2: until you give consent, analytics and advertising cookies stay denied.

The fonts are hosted on this website itself, so nothing is sent to another party for them. Two animation libraries are loaded from jsDelivr. No cookies are placed in the process, but your IP address is visible to that service, because your browser fetches the files from it.

Who may receive your data

A few services are used to run the site and answer messages:

• Vercel — hosting of the website. Processes technical data such as your IP address in server logs.
• Resend — delivers messages from the contact form to the Sal's Socials mailbox. It processes your name, email address, any phone number and the content of your message.
• Google — Google Tag Manager, after consent Google Analytics 4, and Gmail for email.
• jsDelivr — public network that delivers two animation libraries.
• Meta — only if you click a WhatsApp button yourself; your message then goes through WhatsApp.

Data processing agreements are in place with parties that process data on behalf of Sal's Socials.

Transfers outside the EU

Google and Vercel are US companies with servers inside and outside the European Union. Transfers to the United States take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long data is kept

• Messages from people who do not become clients: up to 1 year after the last contact.
• Client records, quotes and invoices: 7 years, because of the Dutch tax retention obligation.
• Statistics in Google Analytics: up to 14 months.
• Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which the site asks again.

Your rights

You may access your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also restrict processing, object to it, request your data in a common file format and withdraw consent you gave earlier. Send a message to info.salssocials@gmail.com and you will receive a reply within four weeks.

If you disagree with how your data is processed, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

The site is served over a secure connection (https) only. No payment details or special categories of personal data are processed through the site. Access to the mailbox and the hosting environment is limited to Sal's Socials.

Changes

This statement changes along with the site and the services used to run it. The date at the top shows when the latest version was made.
